Driving Directions
From Nashville, TN: Take Interstate 40 east to exit 238.
Turn left and proceed north on Highway 231 to Highway 25E. Turn
right onto Highway 25E and proceed east to Highway 10N. Turn north
onto Highway 10N and proceed to Highway 52E. Turn east onto Highway
52E and proceed just past Highway 262N to a right onto Loftis Road.
Proceed approximately 1 mile on Loftis Rd to a left onto Tanyard Road, and
one mile on Tanyard Road to the winery on your left.
From Knoxville, TN: Take Interstate 40 west to exit 258. Turn
right onto Highway 53N and proceed to Highway 25 W. Take Highway 25
W to Highway 80N. Proceed north on Highway 80 to Highway 262W.
Turn left onto Highway 262 and proceed to Tanyard Road. Turn right
on Tanyard Road and proceed past Loftis Road for one mile to the winery on
your left.

Attention: GPS Users If you are coming to Red Barn Winery from the southeast (e.g., from Carthage), you'll probably be routed onto TN262 (Union Camp Road.) Once you are on Union Camp Road, some older GPS software may tell you to turn right onto Woodard Road. Do not turn onto Woodard Road! Woodard Road is a mostly-unpaved road that starts beside the Union Camp Missionary Baptist Church. The road quickly crosses a creek (without benefit of a bridge) and winds around for miles on the other side of the creek. This road will eventually take you to RBW, but you don't want to go that way. Instead, just keep going straight on Union Camp Road. Your GPS will quickly recalculate the better routing to RBW. |
From Portland, TN (Exit 117 off Interstate 65): Proceed east on Highway 52 through Portland, Westmoreland, and Lafayette, just past Highway 262N to a right onto Loftis Road. Proceed approximately 1 mile on Loftis Rd to a left onto Tanyard Road, and one mile on Tanyard Road to the winery on your left.
Note: the turnoffs from TN 52 onto TN 262 and Loftis Road are between mileposts 16 and 17.
